​Clay and Cloth

A dream fully realized is the studio I now call mine. It's a high ceilinged basement space with ample room and unlimited hours available to me, where I can dream and make whatever I fancy. After throwing, hand-buliding, and trimming in the studio, I then decorate and fire just a few houses away.  The kiln will be moved to this location soon though.

As much as I revel in a completed project, I also enjoy the creating process and all stages of clay work.  I love the feel and look of wet clay. There is a soft organic feeling to it that is both  before it is changed lovingly by a 1900+ degree kiln, and I enjoy recording that process as well.
