Mobility mugs have arisen from a need in the community. They are designed to be a beautiful solution to accessibility needs. Persons with issues that might affect their ability to hold a cup deserve beautiful handmade items that respect their needs with dignity.

Each mug is thrown on the wheel, and then altered to contain a barrier-style sipping lip which can help protect from spillage, and also control the amount of liquid being accessed. The clay opening is cut away slightly to aid in washing. There is also a comfort lug on the side of each mug to support stability while drinking and help avoid burning if two hands are needed.

Mugs are glazed in a medium fire kiln in varying creative glaze combinations. Each mug is unique in shape and size both, because everyone has a size/shape preference. They are dishwasher safe, but Microwaves are not recommended.
