A chess set designed with wisdom in mind. This was a thoroughly enjoyable project. Now I need to learn to play Chess.

Mugs fascinate me, however I don't consider myself a production potter, and have no interest in making 1000 of the same thing. I want mugs to be expressions of the materials that I am using, so I explore glazes, shapes and combined techniques. I tend to make mugs in sets of about 20, and take pics of my loves. When they are sold, they are gone and that is precious in it's own right. Sometimes, I even keep one for myself, and then it lives on the wall of mugs in my home.

Above are thrown and hand built samples of this years creations, including some blue porcelain, and some black stoneware which was a dream to work with.

These delicate little wall vases are created with a garden theme in mind. They are bright and playful, with colorful accents, and entirely hand built. Each small pocket vase measures about 6 inches tall.

Inkavi the tiny Octopus Queen of the studio measures only 4 inches tall. She is sculpted from imagination and fantasy. She holds a formidable court.

-Fall 2024

These succulent planters are meant to reflect the calm and quirky sense of place. The tallest measures 7 inches.
